Animated commercials for Runza
THE BRIEF
Runza is a right of passage for Nebraskans and people absolutely love some warm German buns. We wanted to create spots that bring the brand's quirkyness to the forefront and keep the Runzatics coming back for more.
DIRECTION
Make playful animations that highlight the quirky brand through character animation, expressive type animation and punchy timing. The animations have a hand done quality to them to reflect the home cooked ethos of Runza.
takeaway
Working a tight concept with tight execution can be fun! These really tested my animation abilities in how much I could fit into a tight schedule from concept to finished animations and all of those limitations actually helped me to create some of my favorite work I've ever done.
